Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct rigorous testing and ensure code quality through SonarQube
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Ability to solve complex technical problems with elegant solutions
