Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while adhering to Agile methodologies
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Develop RESTful APIs with robust security protocols (OAuth2, JWT)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and participate in tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficient in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with financial systems or high-transaction applications preferred
