Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS with CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Develop RESTful APIs and optimize database performance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation
- Ensure compliance with DoD security standards (NIST 800-53)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of backend development with Java/Python
- AWS/GCP certification or proven cloud architecture experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex systems
