Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Design AWS-based serverless architectures with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3+ engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Optimize database performance for 10M+ daily transactions
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience in distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go and Python with async frameworks
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
- Strong understanding of container orchestration and service mesh
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
