Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Kubernetes orchestration
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and async messaging
- Proficient in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
