Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Conduct code reviews and pair programming sessions to uphold quality standards
- Drive architectural decisions for new product features while balancing scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend/full-stack development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java/Kotlin) and one scripting language (Python/JavaScript)
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest) and TDD/BDD methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
