Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using cloud-native architectures on AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime and sub-200ms latency
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Drive technical debt reduction and architectural improvements
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry-standard libraries
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven track record with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex system debugging experience
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
