Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security operations centers (SOC) for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze and triage security alerts, logs, and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis for security breaches.
- Develop and maintain playbooks for incident response and threat hunting.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Prepare and present weekly security posture reports to management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC, or Incident Response.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+).
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts with high alertness.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
