Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and APIs using modern languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust solutions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and experience with modern web frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
