Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java/Python and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Lead agile sprint planning and code reviews for night shift development team
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Monitor system health and implement proactive security measures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java/Python/Go)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and serverless technologies
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable with night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
