Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, etc.) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and coordinate remediation activities with cross-functional teams.
- Perform proactive threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities and potential attacks before they impact the network.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Generate comprehensive security reports and metrics for stakeholders to drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden system configurations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or a related cybersecurity role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, etc.) and endpoint detection/response systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.
