Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities and potential breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents and facilitate the incident response lifecycle (containment, eradication, recovery).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Perform security audits and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and implement security controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Experience with threat intelligence tools and malware analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
