Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security infrastructure and protocols.
- Lead threat hunting and incident response efforts to mitigate active breaches.
- Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Manage and optimize SIEM tools and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Deep understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
