Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for machine learning tasks, including quantum neural networks and optimization solvers.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to optimize software stack performance on emerging quantum processors.
- Bridge the gap between quantum theory and practical, real-world applications in cryptography and data analysis.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior researchers and engineers on quantum best practices.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuits to ensure fault tolerance and error mitigation.
- Document technical specifications and contribute to the open-source quantum community.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python, C++, or Rust.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and stochastic processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
