Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document test results, track bugs using JIRA, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Create comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to improve testing processes
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for web and mobile applications
- Conduct performance and security testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and user stories
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience with software development lifecycle knowledge
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress)
- Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured) a plus
