Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA and defect tracking systems, prioritizing issues for the development team.
- Perform manual and automated testing across various web and mobile platforms to validate user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure recent code changes haven't introduced new defects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters.
- Analyze system performance and usability to provide actionable insights for product improvement.
- Mentor junior QA analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (Manual and Automation preferred).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience with SQL for database validation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
