Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans for web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management tools
- Automate regression tests using Selenium/Cypress and maintain test frameworks
- Perform smoke, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve critical bugs
- Analyze test metrics to improve quality processes and coverage
- Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manual and automated QA testing experience
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and web services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Foundation Certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
