Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across web, mobile, and enterprise applications
- Document defects with precise steps, severity levels, and reproduction cases in JIRA
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Design test scenarios covering functional, regression, performance, and security requirements
- Maintain and optimize test automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Analyze test results to identify trends and improve quality metrics
- Mentor junior testers and implement QA best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
