Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans covering functional, regression, and usability testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA with clear severity levels and reproduction steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate product requirements and test coverage
- Develop and maintain test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for web applications and Postman for APIs
- Perform compatibility testing across browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with software development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for documenting test cases and reporting defects
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent quality assurance training
