Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for continuous integration pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with clear reproducible steps
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes
- Conduct API and database testing using Postman and SQL
- Validate UI/UX across web and mobile applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience with software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management
- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and SQL database validation
- Certification in ISTQB or similar quality assurance credential preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
