Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, NIST)
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure projects
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response methodologies
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and encryption standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
