Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases covering functional, regression, and usability testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with development teams during Agile sprints to validate feature implementations
- Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and quality documentation
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for quality improvements
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential quality risks early in development
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools (JIRA, Postman), and SDLC processes
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while maintaining clear communication
- Familiarity with API testing and performance testing concepts
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent preferred
