Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, and usability requirements
- Execute manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce bugs and validate fixes in staging environments
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to product stakeholders
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with emphasis on manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/Java)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and bug tracking systems (JIRA)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize defects based on business impact
- Experience testing responsive web applications and cross-platform mobile apps
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document complex technical processes
