Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate validation cycles
- Collaborate with product teams to define test requirements and quality metrics
- Conduct usability testing and provide actionable feedback for UX enhancements
- Maintain test documentation and continuously improve testing frameworks
- Participate in agile ceremonies to align quality goals with sprint objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in SaaS environments
- Expertise in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman)
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking systems and test management tools
- Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
