Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with high precision using Jira and defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and ensure feature quality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after updates.
- Conduct manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress) to validate software behavior.
- Provide detailed bug reports and communicate technical issues to stakeholders effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning meetings to contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Test Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and validation.
- Experience with Automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
