Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation initiatives using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects in JIRA
- Maintain test environments and ensure reproducible testing conditions
- Implement continuous integration pipelines for seamless QA integration
- Analyze test metrics to drive quality improvements and reduce production issues
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Proficiency in SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certified QA Professional (CSTE) or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
