Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead automation strategy using Selenium/Cypress for web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and validate product features
- Document test cases, defects, and quality metrics in JIRA/TestRail
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and implement preventive measures
- Partner with DevOps to implement CI/CD testing pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools
- Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications and REST APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in ISTQB or similar preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and Linux command line operations
