Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and other industry-leading tools
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing across multiple platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for maximum efficiency
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to product stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA testing with 2+ years in automated testing
- Proficiency in testing web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and mobile platforms
- Expert knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
