Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Lead end-to-end testing cycles for web, mobile, and API applications
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, and security requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve critical defects
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
- Document test cases, results, and quality metrics for stakeholder reporting
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in lead roles
- Expertise in JavaScript/Python and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, PyTest)
- Proven experience with API testing (Postman, REST-assured) and performance testing (JMeter)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems (Jira)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) testing environments
