Responsibilities
- Model Orchestration: Design, develop, and fine-tune complex prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 and Claude to maximize output quality and accuracy.
- Iterative Improvement: Continuously analyze model responses, identify edge cases, and refine prompt strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into the broader development lifecycle.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and user studies to validate prompt performance and drive data-driven optimizations.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and guidelines for prompt engineering standards to onboard team members and ensure consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Prompt Engineering, AI Research, or a related technical field.
- Technical Fluency: Proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) to process training data.
- LLM Knowledge: Deep understanding of transformer architectures, tokenization, and the nuances of specific LLMs (GPT, BERT, Llama, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for tone, nuance, and clarity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related technical discipline.
