Responsibilities
- Model Architecture: Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies to optimize performance for LLMs such as GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary models.
- System Prompting: Develop robust system prompts that govern model behavior, ensuring alignment with safety guidelines and business objectives.
- Iterative Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analysis of prompt variations to improve output quality, reduce hallucinations, and enhance user engagement.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases detailing prompt patterns, best practices, and evaluation metrics for the engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and product managers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into user-facing applications.
- Rapid Prototyping: Rapidly prototype new AI features and functionalities using natural language interfaces.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), prompt engineering, or a related AI field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of API integrations (OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face).
- Creative Writing: Exceptional command of language, grammar, and stylistic nuances to craft precise and effective prompts.
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills to interpret model outputs and iterate on strategies based on data.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
