Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt engineering frameworks for large language models
- Collaborate with ML researchers to fine-tune model behavior through strategic prompt crafting
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing to evaluate prompt effectiveness and user engagement metrics
- Create documentation and training materials for cross-functional teams on prompt best practices
- Lead initiatives to reduce model hallucinations and improve response accuracy
- Develop innovative techniques for few-shot learning and zero-shot prompting
- Partner with product teams to translate user requirements into prompt engineering solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama)
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Hugging Face/transformer libraries
- Deep understanding of NLP principles and tokenization techniques
- Proven track record of optimizing AI system performance through prompt iteration
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) for model deployment
- Strong analytical skills with experience in AB testing frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
