Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude 3, and proprietary models
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries with version control and documentation frameworks
- Conduct iterative testing and A/B validation of prompt performance across diverse use cases
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through prompt engineering techniques
- Develop evaluation metrics for prompt quality, coherence, and task completion accuracy
- Lead workshops to train internal teams on prompt engineering best practices
- Research and implement emerging prompt optimization strategies (e.g., chain-of-thought, few-shot learning)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLMs
- Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ complex prompt engineering projects with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in designing prompts for multi-turn conversations and complex reasoning tasks
- Strong background in linguistics, cognitive science, or computational linguistics
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and prompt deployment in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- PhD or Master's in NLP, Computer Science, or related field preferred
