Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompts for large language models to achieve precise outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective prompt engineering strategies
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prompt performance using quantitative metrics
- Develop and document prompt engineering best practices and frameworks for team scalability
- Research and integrate emerging prompt techniques to enhance model capabilities
- Monitor production prompt performance and implement iterative improvements
- Present prompt engineering insights to stakeholders and contribute to product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI development
- Expertise in designing prompts for transformer-based language models (GPT, Claude, LLaMA)
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in AI frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into effective prompt strategies
- Experience with prompt evaluation metrics and A/B testing methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
