Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt engineering strategies for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive prompt libraries, documentation, and best practices for internal and client applications
- Collaborate with ML researchers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt refinement and testing
- Develop evaluation frameworks to assess prompt effectiveness, accuracy, and safety across diverse use cases
- Lead cross-functional workshops to train engineers and product teams on prompt engineering methodologies
- Research emerging AI capabilities and integrate cutting-edge techniques into prompt development workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or applied AI development
- Expertise in designing prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or other enterprise LLMs
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional written communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
