Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine advanced prompt engineering strategies for GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary LLMs
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative optimization of conversational flows to achieve 95%+ task completion rates
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into precise prompt architectures
- Document prompt libraries, best practices, and performance benchmarks for cross-functional deployment
- Monitor and mitigate hallucinations, bias, and safety risks in AI-generated content
- Lead prompt engineering workshops to upskill engineering and product teams
- Stay current with emerging AI research and integrate breakthrough techniques into production systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with prompt engineering for commercial LLM applications
- Proven track record of shipping production AI systems with measurable business impact
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to design and interpret A/B tests
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and version control for AI assets
- Portfolio demonstrating complex prompt engineering projects with quantifiable results
