Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated prompt architectures for large language models
- Conduct iterative prompt optimization through A/B testing and performance analytics
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness and output quality
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt engineering methodologies
- Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune model behavior through strategic prompting
- Research emerging techniques in few-shot learning and chain-of-thought prompting
- Train and mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI roles
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and LLM capabilities
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for production systems
- Strong background in linguistics, cognitive science, or computational linguistics
- Proficiency with Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into effective prompts
