Responsibilities
- Lead security incident response investigations and threat hunting activities
- Design and implement advanced security controls (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure CI/CD pipelines
- Document security policies and procedures
- Mentor junior security analysts
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM (Splunk/Symantec) and EDR platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
