Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM and EDR tools
- Lead incident response operations, including forensic analysis and containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (CIS, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Palo Alto Networks
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
