Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude, and custom LLMs
- Develop reusable prompt libraries with version control and documentation
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations for performance metrics
- Create prompt engineering playbooks for cross-functional teams
- Lead workshops on prompt best practices with stakeholders
- Monitor production prompts and iterate based on analytics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of prompt engineering experience with production LLMs
- Portfolio demonstrating 15+ complex prompt implementations
- Expertise in Python and API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Deep understanding of transformer architecture limitations
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow)
- Strong background in NLP or computational linguistics
- Certification in Azure AI or Google Cloud AI preferred
