Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues and connectivity problems.
- Ensure network security protocols are maintained and firewall configurations are up to date.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network usage.
- Document network changes, configurations, and maintain accurate technical logs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new network solutions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible, part-time schedule.
