Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and test advanced prompts for large language models (LLMs) to achieve specific business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into production AI systems
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and documentation standards
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations
- Create prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles and ethical AI practices
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and adapt prompt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP with demonstrated impact on AI product development
- Expertise in designing prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or equivalent LLM architectures
- Strong background in machine learning, linguistics, or computational linguistics
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ complex prompt engineering projects with measurable results
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field preferred
