Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and execute threat mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze logs and telemetry data using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend security enhancements
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel occasionally
