Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and iterate advanced prompt architectures for GPT-4, Claude, and custom models
- Develop systematic prompt optimization frameworks using A/B testing and performance metrics
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate domain-specific knowledge into prompt engineering
- Create documentation and best practice guides for prompt engineering methodologies
- Conduct red teaming sessions to identify and mitigate prompt injection vulnerabilities
- Develop evaluation protocols for prompt effectiveness across diverse use cases
- Maintain prompt versioning and performance tracking in our MLOps pipeline
- Present findings and recommendations to technical leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or applied AI development
- Proven track record of shipping production-level AI systems with measurable impact
- Expertise in at least two major LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere)
- Strong understanding of NLP principles and transformer architectures
- Experience with Python and prompt engineering libraries (LangChain, DSPy)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications
- Familiarity with AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices
- Excellent analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
