Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize AI prompts for large language models to achieve desired outputs and user experiences
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for diverse AI applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into effective prompt strategies
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations
- Document prompt engineering methodologies and create reusable prompt libraries
- Stay current with advancements in NLP and AI capabilities to implement innovative solutions
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering techniques and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-related roles
- Expertise in designing prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or similar LLMs
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and language model behavior
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into precise prompt instructions
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating prompt effectiveness and iterating improvements
