Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and other LLMs to achieve specific business objectives
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and reusable templates for enterprise applications
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize output quality and consistency
- Create documentation for prompt libraries and best practices for engineering teams
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine model outputs through iterative prompt refinement
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and integrate new techniques into workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP role with production-level AI systems
- Proven portfolio of complex prompt engineering projects with measurable results
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot and debug model outputs
- Excellent written communication with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
