Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine advanced prompts for large language models (LLMs) to achieve specific AI behaviors
- Conduct systematic prompt testing using A/B methodologies and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ML engineers, UX designers) to integrate prompt solutions
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and documentation standards
- Analyze model outputs to identify optimization opportunities and iterate prompt strategies
- Research emerging prompt engineering techniques and industry best practices
- Create technical documentation and training materials for prompt frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI development
- Proficiency with Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Demonstrated ability to optimize prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or similar LLMs
