Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead migration projects for legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Automate deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource tagging
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM, VPC design, and compliance frameworks
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response for production environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (required for government contracts)
