Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, health, and security; proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
- Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security, compliance (SOC2, HIPAA), and disaster recovery strategies.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity during transitions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and/or Azure (VMs, App Service, SQL Database).
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and DNS.
