Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM to prevent outages
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues (VPN, VoIP, wireless) within SLA timeframes
- Implement security protocols (NAC, IDS/IPS) to protect enterprise infrastructure
- Document network topology changes and maintain accurate configuration records
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture projects
- Provide Tier 3 support escalation for critical production incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years enterprise network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- Active CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and protocol analysis
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts (1 week/month)
